About the role
Eden Solutions and Resources Limited is looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven Oil & Gas Bid/Tender Specialist. You will manage end-to-end tendering and bidding processes within the oil and gas industry, ensuring timely submission of compliant proposals that position the organisation for contract awards.
Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, and evaluate oil and gas tender opportunities from IOCs, NOCs, government agencies, and private sector organisations.
- Manage the complete bid and tender process, from opportunity identification to submission and post-submission follow-up.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate technical and commercial bid proposals in line with client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, including technical specifications, statutory documentation, and submission guidelines.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, procurement, legal, and business development teams to obtain relevant bid information.
- Prepare cost estimates, pricing schedules, bills of quantities, and other commercial bid documents.
- Maintain an organised database of tender opportunities, submissions, bid outcomes, and client requirements.
- Monitor tender deadlines and ensure all submissions are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Conduct bid analysis, competitor research, and post-tender evaluations to improve the organisation’s success rate.
- Maintain relationships with relevant clients, procurement departments, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in bid management, tendering, or proposal development within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas procurement processes, contract bidding procedures, and industry requirements.
- Demonstrable experience preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals.
- Knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas regulatory and compliance requirements, including NUPRC, NCDMB, and relevant statutory documentation.
- Familiarity with Nigerian Content requirements and NOGIC JQS registration processes.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, particularly in bid pricing, cost estimation, and commercial evaluation.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
