About the role
Moniepoint Incorporated is a global business payments and banking platform that supports over 600,000 businesses. We are looking for an Offline Customer Support Officer to join our Customer Support Operations team in Ogun. In this position, you will serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers and those interacting via WhatsApp groups. You will work under the Regional Team Lead to ensure a consistent and professional customer experience aligned with our standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for walk-in customers and respond to inquiries on WhatsApp platforms.
- Provide accurate and timely responses to service requests and technical issues.
- Log all support requests accurately for tracking and follow-up purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Escalate complex or unresolved matters to the Regional or State Team Lead.
- Follow approved communication scripts and operational procedures.
- Document customer feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy for all customer information.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of BSc or HND.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service or support.
- Completed NYSC or possession of a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for managing WhatsApp groups.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset with high empathy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail for documentation and data logging.
