About the role
Moniepoint Incorporated is a global business payments and banking platform serving over 600,000 businesses. We are looking for a Customer Support Officer to join our team in Tunga Minna, Niger. This position reports to the Regional Team Lead within the Customer Support Operations department.
You will serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers and those interacting via WhatsApp groups. Your goal is to resolve enquiries, technical issues, and service concerns while maintaining a consistent, high-quality customer experience aligned with our standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for walk-in customers and respond to inquiries on WhatsApp platforms.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and professional responses to service requests.
- Log all support requests accurately for tracking and follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the Regional/State Team Lead when necessary.
- Follow approved communication scripts and operational procedures.
- Collect and document customer feedback to drive service improvements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy of customer information.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of BSc or HND.
- 1–2 years of relevant customer service or support experience.
- Completed NYSC or possession of a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for handling walk-ins and WhatsApp groups.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset with high empathy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail for documentation and data logging.
