About the role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is seeking a professional Night Manager to join their team in Lagos. As the senior management representative on duty during the night, you will oversee hotel operations, ensure excellent guest service, and maintain security and financial accountability. This full-time position reports to the General Manager or Operations Manager within the Operations and Front Office department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift operations, including front office, security, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at the reception.
- Conduct night audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Monitor hotel security, CCTV operations, and emergency response protocols.
- Supervise night-shift staff and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports and handover notes for the morning team.
Requirements
- A minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in hotel operations, front office management, or guest services.
- Strong knowledge of night audit, financial reconciliation, and hotel security procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and POS systems.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
