About the role
Prodigy HR Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join their client’s team as a Mortgage Analyst. This position focuses on supporting property financing and mortgage lending operations through strong financial analysis and credit assessment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze mortgage applications, including income, credit profiles, and repayment ability.
- Conduct credit assessments, affordability analysis, and underwriting.
- Review property documentation, valuation reports, and title documents.
- Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports and recommendations.
- Manage mortgage applications throughout the entire process.
- Liaise with banks, mortgage institutions, valuers, and solicitors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Advise prospective homeowners on mortgage options and eligibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a commercial or mortgage bank.
- Proven experience in residential property financing and mortgage transactions.
- Strong analytical, financial assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of mortgage lending processes.
