Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements while promoting a safety-first culture.
- Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to boost productivity and lower costs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, including risk assessments and environmental impact evaluations.
- Develop detailed mining plans covering schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Engage with government agencies and local communities to maintain transparency.
- Train and supervise engineering teams to foster skills development.
- Maintain thorough documentation of mining activities and compliance records.
- Oversee and optimize extraction processes using various mining techniques.

Requirements
- At least 4 to 9 years of experience in mining operations or engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Proficiency in mining software and design tools.
- Strong understanding of mining laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
