This position is critical for ensuring our products comply with industry regulations (GMP) while fostering an efficient laboratory environment. The Microbiology Lab Analyst will perform tests and analysis on products, raw materials, and the manufacturing environment to ensure they meet quality, sterility, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, water, environmental samples, and finished products.
- Write and execute microbiological method qualification and validation according to contemporary quality standards.
- Review current regulatory and technical journals to support manufacturing regarding microbiological issues.
- Ensure that the correct and most updated versions of SOPs are available to all laboratory personnel.
- Maintain laboratory records, equipment, and documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Support environmental monitoring and laboratory compliance activities.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex scientific information clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in microbiological techniques and the use of laboratory equipment (e.g., autoclaves, incubators, microscopes).
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
