About the role
KannyVic Enterprise Consult is a growing organization focused on climate-smart agriculture, agroforestry, engineering, and sustainable land development. They are looking for a skilled MEP Engineer to join their team in Abuja (FCT) and Delta. This full-time position requires travel to various project sites. Responsibilities
- Design and engineer HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Create and refine technical schematics, blueprints, and layouts using CAD and BIM software.
- Perform engineering calculations for heating/cooling loads, electrical circuitry, and hydraulic piping.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams to resolve spatial clashes.
- Conduct site visits to inspect installations and troubleshoot field issues.
- Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure all designs meet local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 3 – 5 years of proven experience as an MEP Engineer or building services designer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit (BIM modeling).
- Strong working knowledge of local building codes, NFPA standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
