About the role
Belrald Health, also known as Belrald Diagnostics, is a certified medical diagnostic center and clinical immunization facility based in Ibadan, Nigeria. Founded in 2022, the facility offers comprehensive laboratory services, advanced medical imaging, and preventative care. They are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join their team in Ojoo, Ibadan.
Responsibilities
- Collect, handle, label, and process patient specimens.
- Perform procedures in haematology, microbiology, and chemical pathology.
- Prepare laboratory reagents and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to laboratory safety, infection prevention, and quality control protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Work effectively under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Requirements
- National Diploma (ND) or a recognised Medical Laboratory Technician certificate from an MLSCN-recognised institution.
- Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- A valid annual practising permit or registration tag.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
