About the role
Biorapid Diagnostics Nigeria Limited is a trusted medical equipment supplier offering sample testing, evaluation, and diagnosis services. We support over 500 laboratories in Nigeria and internationally. We are looking for a results-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist Marketer to join our team in Nyanya, Abuja. This full-time position combines medical laboratory expertise with marketing and business development skills to promote our diagnostic products, equipment, and reagents.
Responsibilities
- Promote and market laboratory products, diagnostic equipment, reagents, and related services.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and follow-ups with clients.
- Visit healthcare facilities and laboratories to develop business relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Provide clients with technical and product information.
- Prepare regular marketing and sales reports.
- Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Support the achievement of sales and business-development targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
- Valid practising licence from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Good knowledge of medical laboratory equipment, reagents, consumables, and diagnostic products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must reside within Karu, Kurudu, Jikwoyi, Nyanya, Mararaba, Masaka, Orozo, or Karshi Axis.
- Self-motivated and willing to travel for marketing activities.
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, or business development is an added advantage.
