About the role
Green Grass Investment Nigeria Limited (GGI) is a Nigerian company focused on investment, business operations, mining, and industrial activities. We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our team in Warra, Kebbi. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of N120,000 – N200,000, along with accommodation, feeding, and medical insurance.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fabrication, and fitting tasks as needed.
- Conduct equipment servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Repair and replace defective mechanical components.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical faults.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.
- Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.
- Carry out routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on mining and industrial equipment.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of progressive working experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in mining, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Practical experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, troubleshooting, and servicing of industrial machinery.
- A Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Technology.
- Completion of a recognised mechanical apprenticeship training programme.
- Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
- Willingness to work and reside in Kebbi State.
- Added advantages: Experience in welding and fabrication, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
