Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, test, and commission mechanical equipment and systems.
- Interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.
- Inspect installed equipment and resolve any mechanical installation faults.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project personnel and maintain accurate installation records.
Requirements
- A B.Sc., HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Practical experience in mechanical installation, assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical installation or equipment maintenance are an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
- Good knowledge of mechanical tools, installation procedures, and workplace safety.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective planning, time management, and coordination.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in field or site environments when required.
