About the role
Elite Talent Placement is seeking an experienced Mechanical Completions Lead to support a major offshore deepwater and FPSO project in Nigeria. This is a full-time position based in Lagos, involving an offshore/onshore rotation model. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion and commissioning of offshore facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical completion and commissioning readiness activities for offshore facilities and subsea integration.
- Coordinate system completion, testing, punch closure, and handover processes.
- Manage brownfield modifications in live production environments while maintaining HSE compliance.
- Interface with EPC contractors, operations teams, vendors, and commissioning teams.
- Support FAT, SAT, SIT, hydrotesting, leak testing, flushing, and system verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong background in FPSO, offshore commissioning, brownfield projects, and deepwater operations.
- Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary offshore teams.
- Strong understanding of SIMOPS, QA/QC, and offshore HSE standards.
