About the role
Schlumberger Limited is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical / Electronics Technician Intern to join their team in Port Harcourt, Rivers. This full-time internship is designed to help you build practical technical skills in equipment handling, diagnostics, and maintenance. You will support the maintenance, testing, and preparation of field equipment in workshops, labs, or operational bases.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and standard operating procedures.
- Perform basic inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Support inventory tracking and equipment documentation.
- Assist in assembling, testing, maintaining, and repairing tools and equipment.
- Ensure tools and equipment meet operational and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Requirements
- Must have completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Minimum of a 2:1 HND Diploma or Technical certificate in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
- Solid hands-on electronics or mechanical background.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Compliance with company policies, including QHSE standards.
- Fresh graduates not more than 3 years post-graduation (including NYSC).
