About the role
TQ Farms Nigeria Limited is an integrated agricultural business based in Ogun State. We combine agro-processing, livestock, poultry, fisheries, and engineering to support every stage of production. Our operations are located in Ilupa, Ijebu North East, and Isonyin, Ijebu-North. We maintain strict biosecurity, hygiene, and safety standards while investing in our people through structured training.
We are looking for skilled Masons to join our team in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary range is N200,000 – N300,000 gross monthly.
Responsibilities
- Construct and repair drainage channels, soakaways, culverts, footbaths, and concrete bases for equipment.
- Carry out concrete works, including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs, under the supervision of the Facility Manager.
- Mix mortar and concrete, and lay blocks and bricks accurately to approved measurements.
- Perform plastering, rendering, screeding, tiling, and floor finishing.
- Build, repair, and renovate poultry pens, stores, fences, walls, floors, and other farm structures.
- Estimate and request building materials, ensuring they are used without waste.
- Read and follow simple drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with carpenters, welders, plumbers, and other artisans on site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and store them properly.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a mason or bricklayer.
- Skill in block-laying, plastering, concreting, and floor finishing.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
- Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors and lift heavy materials.
- Willingness to work on a farm and in poultry pen environments.
- SSCE or OND, with a trade certificate in bricklaying and block-laying as an added advantage.
- Experience on farm, factory, or industrial building projects is an added advantage.
