About the role
Lightread Consulting is looking for a results-driven Marketer to join their team in Ipaja, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in promoting services, attracting new customers, and driving sales. The role requires a proactive approach and strong communication skills to convert prospects into paying clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Promote services through direct marketing, referrals, and social media channels.
- Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost visibility and sales.
- Visit businesses and organizations to promote available services as needed.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate service information.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, sales, and bookings.
- Meet agreed sales targets and provide regular performance reports.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client acquisition.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales.
- Good customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and deliver measurable results.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable with field marketing when required.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
