About the role
TeamAce Limited is recruiting on behalf of a financial institution to fill a Market Relationship Officer position. This is a full-time role based in Lagos, with assignments across multiple markets including Alade, Agege, Bariga, and others. The role focuses on customer acquisition and loan product sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire prospective customers through field visits and referrals.
- Promote and sell the institution’s loan products to eligible customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with market leaders and traders.
- Generate leads and assess customer repayment capacity.
- Manage assigned customer portfolios and maintain regular communication.
- Follow up on repayment schedules and support collection efforts.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and portfolio growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance reports.
- Meet daily field activity and monthly sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in loan products or microfinance.
- Good knowledge of the assigned market or established relationships with traders.
- Strong customer acquisition, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
