About the role
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a Manager, Production to lead cement manufacturing operations in Ibese, Ogun. In this role, you will ensure optimal output, product quality, and equipment efficiency while maintaining strict safety and cost targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily plant operations to meet production and quality goals.
- Prepare production reports and provide operational insights.
- Ensure the availability and efficient use of raw materials and equipment.
- Supervise production teams to maintain safety and operational standards.
- Lead, train, and evaluate production staff for high performance.
- Oversee plant startups, shutdowns, and maintenance coordination.
- Implement continuous improvement and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 18 years’ experience in cement manufacturing or heavy process industry.
- At least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cement production processes and quality standards.
- Proven ability to manage teams and optimize plant operations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
