About the role
Catilas Resources Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial bank in Nigeria. This full-time position is based in Ilupeju, Lagos. You will work within the Retail, Corporate and Business Banking sector. The role focuses on initiating and processing account opening requests and maintenance instructions. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation for audits.
- Process account maintenance requests, customer updates, and fund transfers.
- Liaise with relevant teams to resolve operational requests timely.
- Prepare transactions for review under the Maker-Checker framework.
- Verify customer details and supporting documents for compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Support reconciliations and resolve account discrepancies.
- Adhere to KYC, AML, and internal control requirements.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
- NYSC completion or exemption certificate (compulsory).
- Age 29 years or below.
- Good communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with banking applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of banking operations, account opening, and KYC/AML.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet turnaround times.
- Previous experience in banking operations is an added advantage.
