About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited provides quality onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and West Africa. We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on supporting maintenance operations, executing planned work, and ensuring equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of proposals and cost estimates.
- Provide feedback on job pack improvements.
- Maintain accurate technical records using tools such as the Global Reliability Tool (GRT).
- Participate actively in on-the-job safety activities.
- Estimate workloads and establish completion timelines.
- Assist mechanical engineers with planning and testing mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
- Request work permits and promptly notify the supervisor of any delays in permit issuance.
- Execute maintenance work according to approved plans.
- Review job packs and identify potential safety issues before commencing work.
Requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant technical certification or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
