About the role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join their team in Enugu. This full-time position focuses on operating nylon processing machinery. You will help ensure efficient production, high product quality, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor nylon and polythene processing machines.
- Follow production schedules to meet daily output targets.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize machine efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of output, downtime, and material usage.
- Report machine breakdowns or defects promptly.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality Control teams.
- Set up machines and adjust parameters according to specifications.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience operating machines in nylon, polythene, plastic, or packaging manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with nylon or polythene processing machinery.
- Good understanding of production processes and machine safety.
- Minimum of SSCE/OND; relevant technical qualifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
