About the role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a Nigerian health-tech company. This full-time position is based in Lagos. You will focus on building and refining machine learning models that power AI-driven healthcare solutions and enhance digital health services.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for healthcare applications and personalized digital health solutions.
- Analyze and process large datasets to identify patterns, boost model performance, and create actionable insights.
- Work with software engineers, data scientists, and healthcare teams to integrate AI models into existing platforms.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize model performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Ensure responsible handling of health data by adhering to privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or model development and deployment.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of statistics, data preprocessing, model evaluation, and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with healthcare data, digital health platforms, cloud technologies, or production ML systems is an added advantage.
