About the role
StarAgri West Africa Group is creating a new Logistics Manager position to improve how we move agricultural commodities, inputs, and equipment across West Africa. Based in Kaduna, you will report to the Head of Operations and work within our Warehouse Operations & Logistics team. This role focuses on transport planning, logistics cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, vendor management, and risk control.
Responsibilities
- Plan and track the movement of agricultural goods, inputs, and equipment.
- Analyze logistics costs and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage inventory reconciliation and vendor relationships.
- Prepare reports and implement logistics risk controls.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Economics, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain analysis.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; experience with Power BI or Google Sheets is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian road networks, haulage practices, and freight markets, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and undertake regular field visits.
- Experience in agriculture, commodities, or FMCG is an added advantage.
