About the role
JPatel and Sons Nigeria Limited is a private company with over two decades of experience in road construction across Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in Kaduna. This is a full-time position where you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations. Your goal will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites while maintaining safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee transportation, equipment mobilisation, and material movement.
- Manage inventory control, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
- Coordinate with multiple suppliers, transporters, and project sites.
- Maintain operational efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience, preferably in construction, civil engineering, oil and gas, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics documentation, cost control, and inventory management procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant logistics, fleet, or inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in fleet management, material transportation, inventory control, and equipment mobilisation.
- Relevant professional certification in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management is an advantage.
