About the role
Genesis Group is seeking a Logistics and Facility Manager to support its oil drilling operations in Port Harcourt. This full-time position involves overseeing physical infrastructure, warehouses, and transportation networks to ensure safe and cost-effective business operations.
Responsibilities
- Logistics & Fleet: Manage company vehicles, maintenance schedules, dispatch, and delivery routes.
- Vendor Oversight: Negotiate with third-party logistics providers and ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations.
- Facility Management: Oversee building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
- Maintenance & Safety: Coordinate preventive maintenance, enforce workplace safety standards, and manage external contractors.
Requirements
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 3 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in ERP/inventory management software and regulatory compliance.
- Strong skills in budgeting, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership.
