About the role
Infytel Communications Limited is seeking a dedicated professional to develop and manage balanced nutritional programmes for livestock. This full-time, on-site position in Lagos focuses on improving animal health, growth, and overall farm performance through expert feed management.
Responsibilities
- Formulate balanced feed rations for various livestock categories and production stages.
- Assess nutritional requirements and recommend suitable feed ingredients and supplements.
- Monitor animal growth, feed intake, and conversion rates to track performance.
- Evaluate feed quality and ensure compliance with nutritional standards.
- Collaborate with veterinary and farm production teams to enhance animal health.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and suggest improvements to feeding programmes.
- Monitor feed costs and optimize feeding efficiency.
- Maintain accurate nutritional records and prepare performance reports.
Requirements
- B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or a related discipline.
- 6–7 years of relevant experience in livestock nutrition or feed formulation.
- Strong knowledge of feed formulation, nutritional analysis, and livestock production systems.
- Proficiency in feed formulation software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
