About the role
TeamAce Limited is seeking a dedicated Live-in Chef to join a reputable household in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will take charge of meal planning, preparation, and overall kitchen management. The role requires a professional who can work independently while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare a variety of meals tailored to the household’s dietary preferences and requirements.
- Manage daily meal schedules, menu planning, grocery shopping, and kitchen inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and proper hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and preparation in line with food safety standards.
- Monitor kitchen supplies, minimise food wastage, and manage food expenses effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef, Private Chef, or Cook in a household or hospitality setting.
- Good knowledge of local and continental dishes, with strong meal preparation and presentation skills.
- Ability to plan menus and prepare meals according to dietary preferences.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and proper kitchen management.
- Trustworthy, organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
