About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a reputable provider of onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and West Africa. We are looking for a qualified professional to deliver engineering planning, design, surveillance, and technical support. The goal is to ensure drilling and well completion operations are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
- Develop functional specifications and scopes of work for drilling equipment and services.
- Prepare Drilling Basis of Design documentation, including casing design, torque and drag analysis, and hydraulics.
- Ensure well objectives are met while maintaining high standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection.
- Provide technical expertise and engineering support to Operations and Development teams.
- Monitor drilling operations to identify opportunities for improving regional well construction performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Relevant industry experience in well planning and execution.
- Experience using well design software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with international assignments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Deepwater drilling experience is required for candidates applying for deepwater positions.
