About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a reputable provider of onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria and West Africa. We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Completions Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on supporting well planning and execution, optimizing costs, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
Responsibilities
- Identify industry best practices and evaluate emerging technologies, including subsea systems.
- Ensure geological and reservoir objectives are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with drilling teams, completion foremen, service companies, and field operations personnel.
- Monitor completion projects to ensure accurate, high-quality data.
- Prepare detailed engineering designs and well completion plans.
- Promote safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize well design costs, budgets, and investments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Extensive knowledge of completions design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of subsea systems technology is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
