About the role
Estrada International Staffing Solutions (EISS) is seeking a Legal Officer to join their Operations team in Surulere, Lagos. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring three days onsite and two days remote. The role reports to the Chief Recruitment Officer and offers a gross monthly salary of ₦250,000.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage the lifecycle of commercial contracts to ensure accuracy and protection.
- Act as the primary point for due diligence, risk reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide real-time legal counsel to internal stakeholders to prevent disputes and manage litigation.
- Participate in client onboarding meetings to ensure legal alignment from the start.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university.
- Barrister-at-Law (B.L) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate startup environment (in-house generalist background preferred over law firm experience).
- Ability to maintain a 24-hour turnaround time for document reviews.
- Proficiency in collaborative tools such as Google Drive and CRM systems.
