About the role
Sundry Foods is an integrated food services company founded in 2003, operating in major cities across Nigeria. The company owns and operates one of Africa’s leading restaurant and bakery chains, serving workplaces, schools, hospitals, and remote sites. We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join our team in Port Harcourt.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement learning strategies and annual training plans.
- Design e-learning courses and byte-sized video trainings for refresher topics.
- Manage training budgets and negotiate with external training providers.
- Coordinate the bi-weekly Knowledge & Experience Sharing Sessions (KESS).
- Execute High Potential (HiPo) development plans and leadership courses.
- Oversee the Management Trainee Scheme, including induction and shift management certification.
- Develop metrics and conduct post-learning evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
- Administer the standard training system and generate reports for the Head of Department.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working in Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- HR Certification (CIPM) is compulsory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
