About the role
NexPro Energy is a fully integrated oil and gas company that manages projects from prospect identification to asset decommissioning. We are looking for a Lead Production Engineer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This position is central to guiding an offshore field from its first oil production through to full field development.
Responsibilities
- Lead the permanent export solution from concept selection to start-up.
- Manage first oil production via the interim crude evacuation route.
- Provide production and facilities input to the Field Development Plan.
- Build and lead the production engineering and operations function.
- Oversee production economics, opex, metering, and custody transfer.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in offshore production engineering or operations.
- Proven experience with a first-oil or early-production start-up.
