About the role
Hyde Energy Limited is a trading company operating in Nigeria and internationally, with a focus on LPG, crude oil, and refined petroleum products. They are looking for a Lead Mechanical Inspector (Onshore) to join their team in Lagos. This position requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently in an HSSE-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily inspection and QAQC reports.
- Monitor onshore fabrication and offshore installation activities.
- Inspect materials, raise NCRs, and sign off ITRs.
- Witness welding, NDT, PWHT, coating, pressure testing, and dimensional control.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO, API, DNV, and ASME codes.
- Valid BOSIET, OSP, and offshore medical fitness certificate.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP III, NDT Level II, or CSWIP Plant Inspection (as applicable to the role).
- Strong HSSE awareness and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
