About the role
NexPro Energy is a fully integrated company managing oil and gas projects from prospect identification to asset decommissioning. We are looking for a Lead Geologist to help build the geological foundation for long-term field value. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the field geological model using 3D seismic and petrophysics.
- Provide well prognosis and supervise wellsite geology.
- Establish the geological basis for the Field Development Plan.
- Plan appraisal, development, and infill wells.
- Manage well-to-seismic tie, re-mapping, and fluid contacts.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in geology.
- At least 8 years of experience in subsurface geology, spanning well operations and development geoscience.
