About the role
Power Control and Appliances Limited (PCA) is a pioneer in power transmission, distribution, and rural electrification in Nigeria. With over three decades of experience in the EPC field, PCA is currently seeking to fill two Land Surveyor positions. The role is full-time and based in Benue and Yobe.
Responsibilities
- Perform land surveying tasks for infrastructure, linear projects (such as power lines, roads, and pipelines), or civil works.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and local communities.
- Work in rugged terrain and travel to various project locations as required.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of practical land surveying experience.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying & Geoinformatics or a related field.
- Registration with relevant surveying bodies (SURCON professional board) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with RTK-GPS/GNSS receivers, DGPS, Total Stations, and levelling instruments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
