About the role
Recore Limited is a Nigerian-owned company focused on providing outsourcing services such as personnel supply and facility management. We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Sagamu, Ogun. This is a full-time position where you will support daily kitchen operations and help maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist with serving meals and general kitchen operations.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and report any shortages.
- Support the chef with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is an added advantage.
