About the role
African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML) is hiring a Junior Engineer to join their team in Gujeni, Kaduna. ANRML operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant. This is a contract position where you will work closely with senior engineers to support electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and troubleshooting electrical faults and equipment failures.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with the design and development of electrical systems.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and project activities.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other electrical/design software is an advantage.
