About the role
UrbanCycle Interiors and Events provides urban-class global events and standard design services. We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Somolu, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will support our financial operations across events and interior projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking project budgets and comparing actuals against estimates.
- Maintain organized financial records for each event and interior job.
- Process vendor payments and follow up with clients on outstanding invoices.
- Record all income, expenses, invoices, and receipts for projects.
- Collaborate with events, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Support monthly bank reconciliation and petty cash management.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience. NYSC graduates and interns with relevant experience are welcome.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
