About the role
Join Skipper Eye-Q Hospitals, an international eye hospital chain with a strong presence in Nigeria and India. We have treated over 10 million patients and are HMO empanelled. We are looking for a Junior Account Officer to join our team in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update records for referral doctors, clinics, and HMOs.
- Collaborate with marketing to track the success of promotional campaigns.
- Manage accurate CRM databases for all referral sources and patient volumes.
- Handle invoicing for referred patients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile referral transactions with the general ledger and prepare reports.
- Calculate and process commissions or referral fees for partners.
- Serve as the primary contact for billing and payment inquiries from partners.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in Accounting with 1-2 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret referral data and financial records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software such as SAP, Sage 50, QuickBooks, or HIS.
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with external partners.
- Ability to work proactively with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
