About the role
Primly Premium Solutions Limited (PPS) is a Nigerian technology company dedicated to using innovation to solve societal problems. We are looking for a hands-on IT Executive / Network Administrator to support our IT Lead in managing operations across all facilities nationwide. This role combines technical leadership with operational duties, ranging from firewall configuration to collaborating with software developers on new application rollouts.
Responsibilities
- Manage network and systems administration, including domain registration, DNS configuration, SSL certificates, and backup systems.
- Design and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including cabling, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Administer AWS Cloud Infrastructure services such as EC2, VPC, S3, and IAM roles.
- Configure and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and network security systems to protect against cyber threats.
- Set up and administer servers, Active Directory, and user access control.
- Manage PBX systems like 3CX for call centres.
- Collaborate with developers on testing, deployment, and technical documentation for web applications.
- Provide technical support to end-users, manage IT assets, and maintain email and collaboration tools.
- Conduct staff training on IT systems and cybersecurity awareness.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience in network or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and user access control.
- Experience managing cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Practical experience with PBX/VoIP systems, preferably 3CX.
- Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or AWS Solutions Architect Associate are strongly preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
- Willingness to provide after-hours or on-call support for critical systems.
