About the role
Moniepoint Incorporated is a global business payments and banking platform serving over 600,000 businesses. We are looking for an Inventory Support Officer to manage the complete lifecycle of repair consumables, such as batteries, screens, cables, and accessories, within our repair centre. This role ensures technicians have the right parts at the right time while minimizing waste and maintaining full documentation.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming spare parts consignments against delivery notes before logging them into the Inventory Management System (IMS).
- Store parts in designated, labelled bins organized by type and model compatibility, ensuring conditions protect electronic components.
- Update IMS stock levels immediately upon issuance and issue parts only against approved Job Cards validated by the Repair Centre Manager.
- Manage parts returns from technicians and update records accordingly.
- Raise replenishment requests when stock hits reorder thresholds and reconcile physical stock against IMS records weekly.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete parts and flag them to the Lead, Inventory Support.
- Generate weekly consumption and stock-position reports and maintain issuance logs linking parts to Job Cards.
- Maintain proper zoning, labelling, and cleanliness of the storage area and support inventory counts.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory operations.
- Minimum of an OND in a related discipline.
- Experience handling large volumes of items with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and workflow applications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
