About the role
Moniepoint is Africa’s all-in-one financial ecosystem and Nigeria’s largest merchant acquirer. We are looking for an Inventory Support Officer (ISO) to serve as the dedicated custodian for POS terminals moving through the repair pipeline. This role ensures end-to-end traceability, enforces custody controls, and maintains logical-physical alignment within the Repair Centre’s IMS subsystem, from receipt of faulty units to the dispatch of QA-cleared devices.
Responsibilities
- Manage intake and receipt by identifying damaged devices, verifying serial numbers against waybills, and logging devices in the IMS within 24 hours.
- Track the repair pipeline by pushing devices to technicians, enforcing SLAs, and monitoring movement through assessment, repair, QA, and dispatch stages.
- Integrate with QA by updating IMS status for approved terminals, isolating ‘Beyond Economic Repair’ devices, and flagging failed units for re-repair.
- Handle dispatch and outbound logistics by generating dispatch lists, obtaining approvals, confirming receipt acknowledgments, and scanning devices during loading.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconciliation by escalating variances, participating in periodic wall-to-wall counts, and performing daily physical counts.
- Enforce compliance and housekeeping standards, including POS Inventory Control SOPs, audit readiness, and maintaining segregated zones for different device statuses.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and workflow applications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Minimum of OND in a related discipline.
