About the role
Ginos Ventures Limited is an indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa. We partner with over 15 multinational healthcare companies and serve a significant portion of healthcare institutions in Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team in Abuja (FCT).
In this full-time position, you will oversee inventory operations, maintain accurate stock records, and optimize stock levels to minimize losses. You will work closely with Procurement, Sales, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory control and timely product availability.
Responsibilities
- Enforce inventory control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Oversee daily stock receipt, storage, issuance, and reconciliation.
- Conduct stock counts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
- Analyze stock data to identify cost-saving opportunities and forecast stock needs with the Procurement team.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, including tracking damaged, expired, and slow-moving items.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medical supplies.
- Coordinate stock movement with relevant departments and supervise warehouse organization.
- Prepare regular inventory and stock movement reports.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or B.A. in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
- At least 3 years in an Inventory Manager or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory forecasting, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Healthcare supply chain or distribution experience is an added advantage.
