About the role
The Change Room, established in 2012, provides specialized human resource and business management consulting services. We are currently seeking a full-time Internal Auditor to join our team in Ogun. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring robust internal controls through comprehensive auditing and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls, processes, and procedures.
- Identify risk areas and recommend solutions to mitigate them and improve efficiency.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
- Provide guidance to management and staff on internal control issues and risk strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and auditing best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in internal auditing roles.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards and practices.
- Proficiency in audit software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high attention to detail.
