Avetium Consult is a Business Process Outsourcing and Technology solution company based in Nigeria. We are looking for an Internal Audit Officer to join our team in Lagos. This is a full-time position with a net monthly salary of ₦193,000.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute full audit cycles, including risk management and operational reviews.
- Test and evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Review financial statements, ledger entries, and operational records to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in investigating suspected fraud, misconduct, or policy violations.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
- Monitor the implementation of recommended corrective actions by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or a related financial role.
- Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to explain complex findings to non-financial stakeholders.
