About the role
Stripe is seeking a strategic leader to oversee workplace operations at its Bengaluru office. You will act as a key business partner, ensuring that facilities, services, and programs run smoothly while maintaining high standards of safety and comfort. This role involves managing a complex site with a significant employee transportation program and working closely with integrated facilities management partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all workplace services, including building operations, front-of-house, shipping, events, and health and safety.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of workplace services professionals to drive excellence.
- Monitor service levels, identify trends, and resolve root causes to improve operational performance.
- Manage the opex budget for facilities, fixed assets, and events in collaboration with Finance and Strategy partners.
- Hold service providers accountable for meeting contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Develop site-level plans and provide clear recommendations to leadership based on local business needs.
- Manage operational incidents by coordinating partners and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in workplace or hospitality management in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability in facilities management, vendor management, and budget oversight.
- Experience managing teams focused on customer service, hospitality, and operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize operational data and stakeholder feedback into clear recommendations.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and Jira is preferred.
- Willingness to use AI tools to automate routine work and generate operational insights.
