About the role
ServiceNow is seeking a Solution Architect to serve as the technical lead for its entry into the Indian public sector. You will design AI-led architectures that align with the India AI Mission and ministry priorities. This role involves creating solution blueprints, proof of concepts, and winning bids for central ministries, state governments, PSUs, and regulators. You will work closely with government technology leaders and system integrator partners to build trust and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Development and Sales teams to develop go-to-market plans for central and state entities.
- Lead architecture sessions with government CIOs, IT teams, and NIC teams to translate program goals into actionable blueprints.
- Own technical responses for RFPs and tenders, including compliance matrices, architecture sizing, and clarifications.
- Build and run proof of concepts and demos across AI, workflow, and integration to demonstrate value quickly.
- Design solutions within government constraints, including data localisation, security, and integration with legacy systems.
- Co-sell with system integrators and partners on solution scope, bid strategy, and delivery handoff.
- Partner with Sales, Solution Consultants, Product, and Legal teams on deal strategy and risk management.
- Work with regional AI experts to shape and validate AI solutions.
- Build reusable assets such as reference architectures, AI use-case patterns, and RFP response libraries.
- Mentor Solution Consultants on public sector sales motions.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of exclusive public sector pre-sales experience in government, PSU, or SI/OEM roles.
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with executive presence, able to simplify complex architecture for non-technical decision makers.
- AI fundamentals knowledge (LLMs, agents, RAG, data readiness, responsible AI), with the capacity to reach expert level within 12-18 months.
- Expertise in AI architecture, workflow automation, data & analytics, and integration frameworks.
- Proven track record on tenders and RFPs, with fluency in procurement and compliance requirements.
- Depth in enterprise workflow or ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred), plus integration, API, data, and automation architecture.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, NCR (New Delhi), with regular travel to government offices.
