About the role
Join the MongoDB Documentation team to create high-quality reference docs and tutorials for the MongoDB product family. This hybrid position is based in Bengaluru, Gurugram, or Mumbai. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure documentation supports both human users and AI agents effectively.
Responsibilities
- Write technically accurate documentation for complex features, including the database, Atlas, and AI models.
- Research product features and validate them through diligent testing.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to meet user documentation needs.
- Contribute to copy reviews and planning discussions to improve team output.
- Advocate for users by ensuring all written content is clear and helpful.
Requirements
- Experience in technical writing, communications, or developer relations within the software industry.
- Proven ability to write technical documentation from scratch in English.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate documentation workflows.
- Ability to read code in at least one language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of cloud and database technologies.
- Strong critical reading and writing skills with sound editorial judgment.
