About the role
Okta is seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to join its Business Technology team in Bengaluru. You will optimize, customize, and maintain the company’s NetSuite ERP system. This hybrid position reports to the Manager in Bangalore and focuses on improving business processes and scalability through scripts, workflows, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations, including SuiteScripts (1.0/2.0), workflows, and saved searches.
- Utilize NetSuite’s native AI capabilities, such as the SuiteScript Generative AI API, Prompt Studio, and AI Connector Service, to build custom features.
- Collaborate with the Business Technology team to design, develop, test, and support system solutions.
- Resolve production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Create and maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Explore external AI frameworks like AWS Bedrock and RAG to identify opportunities for future enhancements.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of NetSuite development experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk.
- Experience with SuiteCloud tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and related web technologies.
- Good understanding of NetSuite ERP modules, including Order Management, Billing, and Vendor Bill.
- Experience with SuiteScript Generative AI APIs for integrating LLM capabilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent industry experience.
- NetSuite Administration or ERP consultant certification is an advantage.
- Nice to have: Experience with AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, AWS Comprehend, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
