About the role
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform used by millions of companies to accept payments and grow revenue. As a Sales Development Representative, you will support the region’s largest and most innovative companies by helping to power Stripe’s growth engine. You will work closely with Demand Generation and Account Executive teams to qualify leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
For the first few months, you will participate in the Sales Development Associate program. This intensive onboarding is designed to help you quickly develop the skills needed for success. After completion, you will continue your growth within Stripe’s Sales Development Academy.
Responsibilities
- Research and create outreach materials for high-value prospects in partnership with SDRs and AEs.
- Follow up with marketing-generated leads to qualify them as sales opportunities and arrange meetings.
- Execute outbound sales plays and initiate contact with potential customers via cold-calling or inquiries.
- Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs and qualify interest for hand-off to sales.
- Work through lead lists to meet service-level agreements and keep CRM data updated.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on targeting and messaging.
- Prospect into enterprises of all sizes across the APAC region using various tools and methods.
Requirements
- A track record of top performance or prior success in academic, extracurricular, or professional endeavors.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly.
- A self-starter who is highly motivated and able to operate autonomously in a hyper-growth environment.
- Willingness to work in-office three days per week in the Bengaluru office.
- Preferred: Professional experience in sales, customer service, or a fast-paced professional environment.
